Best Video has adapted so brilliantly from video store to community space, coffee bar, and film/art appreciation center while remaining a place you can just stop by to pick up a movie for the night. That it has been able to persist and thrive in the age of streaming video is a testament to its greatness.
The collection is so expansive and there are so many hard-to-find and overlooked movies to discover. I used to spend over an hour, sometimes two, examining each shelf and trying to narrow down which movie I was gonna bring home. It offers a breadth and depth of selection that no other space, online or offline, can replicate.
